The most beautiful tours

With us you can't just enjoy the winter on skis. There are a few other options. Here we show you the most beautiful tours through the quiet, quiet winter in the Ahrntal

Tour 1: Even in winter to the Kasselerhütte

Of course, you can also visit the Kasselerhütte in winter. It is then open for use for a few weeks and if the snow situation permits (inquire in advance), you can then hike up with snowshoes or touring skis. There is then a separate winter path that cleverly exposes the avalanche-prone zones. When the sun is shining and the winter sky is shining, it is a pleasure to sit on the terrace of the hut and watch the South Tyrolean mountains.

Tour 2Snowshoe tour to the Furtalm

It's not really far. There aren't very many meters in altitude either. It doesn't take that long either. And yet: when it has freshly snowed, when everything is completely quiet, then this snowshoe hike to the Furtalm is something very special. Even if it hasn't snowed fresh. It only rises gently and if you look closely, you can see the climbers doing their thing on the original icefall.

Tour 3: Ski up the Magerstein

The tour to the Magerstein is a wonderful, very long and yet worthwhile ski tour up a three-thousander. A total of almost 1,700 meters of altitude have to be overcome. On the way, the Kasselerhütte is available as a base, which is open for a few weeks in winter. Always with the neighboring Hochgall in view, on this tour you can experience how beautiful ski tours can be when the conditions and your own fitness match.
